Flight Test Engineer

The specialists, involved in the Flight Technology area, operate in order to develop the aero-dynamical solutions, the air loads evaluation and the performances estimation within the forecasted flight envelope.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to HDO, he is also responsible for the following main tasks:

  • Preparing documents like design definition documents, technical specifications, purchasing specifications, and operating instructions (i.e. process specification)
  • Establishment of design data in the area of expertise
  • Establishment of compliance documents/data (including test program and test result) in the area of expertise
  • Supporting testing conduct
  • Supporting data validation
  • Establishment of target airworthiness requirements for foreseen compliance documents/data (in accordance with the CCL)
  • Work in close cooperation with other technical department for data exchange
  • Coordination with CVE for satisfactory completion of the showing of compliance against target airworthiness requirements.
  • Supporting Technical Customer Support
  • Technically evaluate design change feasibility

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Aerodynamic;
  • Flight Loads;
  • Performance;
  • Flight Dynamics;
  • Msc Degree in Aeronautical Engineering;
  • Minimum two years experience on Flight Technologies;
  • Knowledge of aeronautics disciplines;
  • Problem solving capability;
  • Knowledge of the EASA regulatory environment in the organization approval field;
  • Ability of working according to EASA Part 21 standards
  • Previous experience as Airworthiness Engineer is advantageous;
  • Knowledge of airworthiness code (CS/FAR-23 and interpretative materials) is advantageous;
  • Good knowledge of English

Systems Engineer

The specialists involved in this area, operate in order to develop and to define the design criteria and for the definition of the design solutions related to the powerplant installation (which includes the engine(s), drive system components, and propellers, their accessories, ancillary parts, and fuel and oil systems. Environmental and Cabin Safety aspects are also developed within this area as well as all those aspects related to reliability and concerning this technical area.

Theoretical and numerical approaches are used, as well as experimental tests (as required) to pursue the results aimed to the demonstration of Compliance with the applicable airworthiness requirements.

The specialists operates taking into account compatibility with the product specification and the Airworthiness standards.
